It's midnight and my back is causing me a great deal of pain but I was determined to finish this applique block.
The design is by McKenna Ryan called "Once Upon a Star" and I'm doing it as a block of the month for Lachie. I had planned to do the blanket stitching by
hand but there are just too many layers of fabric and not enough hours in the day.

I'm so pleased to have this one finished and can get on with #2 and #3 before #4 arrives this month. Maybe it will be his Christmas present 'cos it's too late for his second birthday.
