Thongs - Flip flops - Jandals - Whatever you call them?

It's not a finish yet but it's on it's way.
This project was started oh so long ago with 12 of The Patch girls each making 12 identical blocks to swap amongst ourselves.
As usual life got in the way and one member couldn't complete her set so I needed to make block #12 myself.
Once I'd done that it wasn't such a big step (heehee) to toss them all together. I'm going to quilt this before I let myself start cutting up all the newly dyed fabric in my stash.
I love this happy little collection of footwear but I have no idea what to do with it once I'm finished. Any suggestions?

The beach idea sounds good, but I think it would look great as a summertime wallhanging. You could find a large bowl or something to stand on the floor underneath it and fill it with shells, add some driftwood next to it, and viola! instant summer holiday feeling!

O Sue- I am so happy that you finished it. After you actually finished a project - it is nice to get that "accomplished something feeling" . I like all the ideas the others have !(I thought its a shame you couldn't sell it to a shoe store! ;)

I also love Maria's idea.
