Prepare for belly sickening, mind numbing gushing......It's been just one happy day after another.
Firstly my bloke came home on leave and we jetted off to spend a few days in lovely old Melbourne town. The rain held off for most of our stay and we had plenty of success with our shopping expeditions, found sublime meals in teeny lil cafes tucked into tiny laneways, were enthralled by the life story and music of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys. I turned a blogfriend into a real friend over coffee and met so many other creative and clever people at the Stitches & Craft Show. Spent time on Mother's Day with some of our favourite people and both his and my footy teams won their games...go the "Freagles"!
Then today, when it was back to work for me and goodbye to my bloke as he flew north again, I thought it was all over. But wait there's more....this showed up in my letter box.
Narromine. These are amazingly gorgeous. Carol's stitching is wonderful and she took my funny little collection of fabric and embellishments, added a few of her own and created this set of coordinating block holder, pin cushion and needlebook to send to me. Thankyou Carol, you're a star.
So if you, Dear Reader, are still with me and haven't rushed out for something to settle your stomach, thanks for sticking around and I promise you I have quite a few S#*t days too, just like everybody else!
