"An ugly fabric"

This floral fabric isn't so pretty but I think "ugly" is a little harsh.
It's part of this years quilt challenge from the Geraldton Club
Make a small quilt using most of this "Ugly fat quarter"
So far I have a little tree and I'm thinking hard.
It looks alright mixed in with the green and gold
but there's still quite a bit left.
I'll keep going.......

I agree - ugly is harsh for it but your tree really cheers it up..... looks pretty now... I hope you call your design Cinderella Tree

What a fun challenge. It doesn't look bad where you have it. Can you make lots of trees?????

You do have such fun challenges over there, can I become a 'mail order' member? I could mail myself every now and then :o)
You're right it isn't the best but not flat out ugly and now it's a pretty blossom tree...

That's really cute! I've heard it said that if there's a fabric you don't like, just cut smaller pieces of it and it looks great anywhere - and you've done just that!

I Love the way you have transformed that fabric into a thing of beauty.
All it had to do was find a way into your capable hands.

I Love trees and I especially love yours!

I have forgotten - do you get to keep it after your finish?
