Down by the river...........

On a quiet, still night a creaking was heard, a rustle of leaves and then a huge thump.

Next year's firewood was delivering itself to us.
The bloke assisted by Jilly the dog from next door,
(who didn't want to miss out on any excitement)
had the job of sawing and loading this gift from nature.
Shame the delivery was across the fencing, freeing one small pony from her yard and requiring instant action.
One day we will move to a small apartment where life will be much quieter
and there will be no need for a chainsaw!

Now where is the fun in life without a chainsaw! Looks like it's going to be a cosy Winter in your house.

Haha, and I am looking forward to using our chainsaw more often hopefully when we move to Utah. Gotta love living near nature.

Love all of the pictures. Isn't it wonderful to have a "working partnership" with the bloke like that. Sounds like he knows how to "keep you warm"! LOL
