It’s quiet here again today

The bloke has been home this past week on leave but today he returned to work. 21 days straight, no weekends, no time off for Easter, long days, early starts.

The garden (and I) will miss him!

001

He’s installed a new arch

006005

Raked and swept the paths and driveway007

Right into the corners

003

He’s even pruned and cleared some overgrown shrubs before they covered over the house.

Soon the wind will blow and all his hard work will be undone……..I guess he gets some sort of pleasure from doing all this work. I’d rather be sewing.

Good news:

The twins arrived safely yesterday.

001

One girl and one boy, just as we expected.

Charlotte and Maurice.

Welcome to them both and congratulations to their Mummy and Daddy and two big sisters.

O Sue!
All the work you DH did just takes my breath it is so lovely. I could get lost in your garden path & think I had gone to visit heaven.

I am sorry he has to be away so much ,but at least he knows he is missed .

congrats. on the babies & the Mom being all alright! I see one of them took your name-that was smart of them.
