Yesterday some of The Patch members came over to my place to dye some fabrics.
I still have lots of dyed cottons waiting to be used so this time I dyed
some little squares of wool.
It didn’t work all that well and I have some funny white patches showing through,
maybe I need to wash the lanolin out with hot, hot water.
I’ve been loving this Block of the Month from Sue Spargo, Earth and Twig.
This is Block 1, still not finished but ticking along nicely.
Block 2 is waiting patiently for it’s turn next.
Lots of wool here too, and cotton and some fancy stitching to keep me super challenged.

O Sue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How wonderful to see you tonight! what a treat! (for me) After being "mowed down " by this week - it is such a blessing to see what lovely things you have accomplished! There is light at the end of my tunnel - and you are it - leading the charge!
I remember well - the dying you gals did last year-they were so lovely blowing in the breeze drying! I loved them all .
I also LOVE these pieces !!!!!!!

Looks like you place is all dressed up for a party! I wouldn't worry about white patches either... make it look more hand crafted and original. Love your Earth and Twig block... can't wait to what comes next....
