Dyeing Day

Last weekend members of The Patch came to Charlotte's Cottage to dye fabrics. We had so much fun and with everyone pitching in we managed to get loads of pieces stewing in the sun before lunch time.
First the potions were brewed
Then the bags and jars were stewed
We always find time to feed ourselves
Shirley, Mary & Esther are telling us how much fun they had
Afterwards we shared out the colours to take home and put through the washer with vinegar.
Guess which colour I did.
A special thanks to our club pres. Loris who keeps us all under control and reminds us what to do next.

Wow looks like such a fun day. I love the "washing on the line" so bright and colourful. What are you all going to make with the material? Happy Easter Sue.
