Just a little stitching

Thanks to heaps of inspiration from Karen Eckmeier I've been creating fun stuff.
These are two of Karen's designs.
She teaches a method rather than a pattern so no two are ever identical.
So mine are not the same as her's anyway.
I love the way they work out with every part a surprise.
I'm sorry my beach one is sideways but I seem to be having lots of gremlins in my 'puter these days and things that used to be straight are no longer!
I've added lots of beads and shells since I took this photo and it's getting more and more interesting.
This Happy Village needs to be glued and sewn so I guess I'm lying when I called this post
 "Just a Little Stitching"
I need to buy some fine tulle to lay over the tiny pieces then the quilting happens and holds it all down.
If you'd like to see Karen Eckmeier's books and patterns click on her name.
I'm off to play in my village and on my beach.
