Rubies

We are about to hit our ruby wedding anniversary. Now that's a bloody long time!
I was a child bride and my beloved was a long haired singer in a band back in 1970.
Now I'm a larger than life grandmother and himself  is a bald headed singer in the shower.

It's off to Melbourne we will go to celebrate, spending our days playing tourist with an evening at Jersey Boys.
He's already told me not to expect him to visit The Stitches and Craft Show.
Guess I'll be there alone while he finds a car museum.
Woohoooooooooooooooo!

You two seem like a perfectly married couple!
Where do the years go, Sue?
It seems like yesterday my husband and I were riding around in his Mustang listening to Rod Stewart....
We still listen to Rod Stewart and ride around....lol!
Happy aaniversary to you both!

Happy Anniversary my dear friend -
Hope you two have a wonderful celebration. Kind of amazing -isn't it? You start out so in love and then you get to paying bills and raising a family and the next thing you know it is a 40th anniversary? Then it seems to go even faster. lol
