Friday Night Sew In

Is it cheating to show the same thing twice in FNSI?
A while ago I pieced this cat mat for my friend Peta's furbaby and blogged it on FNSI.
Tonight I finished it, all quilted and bound finally ready to send off to her.
It's not a very big for a quilt that has taken me the best part of a year to make!

But it is reversible.....which side do you like best?
I think it will co-ordinate very nicely with their lovely apartment.
Note the aqua to pick up the glass splashback, the black and white to work in with the furniture, the kitty and other related motifs to make sure the cat knows it's for him and the newsprint fabric in case he likes to keep up with current events.

I think the back with the newsprint is my favorite. No matter which way the furbaby flips it, the quilt looks great.

Great progress on your FNSI --- and finishing a quilt is a great accomplishment. I am always starting and not finishing.

I like both sides - black and white and any color is always so striking! I've done 2 now - one green and one red, and love them both!!
