She's here, she's here

Nanny Gertrude is here at last. She's such a pretty little goat, a "Paisley Black Plains" hybrid her mummy/mommy says. Quite rare and I think a little posh. Somewhat of a princess, but don't tell her I said that.
She's from America where they have fields and barns but while she's here in Aussieland She'll have to make do with paddocks and a shed. The chooks have been scratching in the hay too and eaten all the oats. Poor Gertie, I hope she doesn't mind roughing it.
