I'm feeling so patriotic today....the words of Dorothea Mackellar's poem are running through my head.
Having been inspired by Nanette who made this quilt of flags, I decided to do something Aussie.
This pillowcase might just go to my next quilting retreat.
Footnote:
The bloke wasn't born and bred here so I thought I'd make him feel welcome.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the flag pillow - I could so do this for me - just need to remove one of your stars - did you follow a pattern or make it up? I'd love to do a NZ flag - why let the Union Jack rule the internet bring on the Southern Cross for us ANZAC's
