Old...our front door, looking a bit faded and dusty,
even the rusty, torn fly wire had been fitted to the wrong side of the screen.
Newly painted trim, polished brass and the screen is off being re-wired...
on the correct side.
We have nine sets of French doors,
all of them were painted orange and orange.
Now we have fresh cream and deep blue-grey,
(soon the wobbly bits of paint will be scraped off the glass)
The walls are painted the same colour they were before.
The bloke gets up every day and cheerfully paints a bit more of our house,
he sings, hums and whistles with pleasure.
I don't have the patience.......
I'll have to keep him....
at least until he's finished.

I don't know which I love the most - your beautiful french doors -OR - a husband who can whistle while he works???????? : ) I think they are both keepers! LOL
Looking lovely Sue!!!
Oh god yes, he's a keeper..! I've decided we should paint our weatherboards eggshell white and the doors white....I think :o)

Keeper!!!! At just the mention of the word paint, my husband disappears!
It looks so nice and clean too.
The house is looking so good with it's new paint job.
Must go round the front next visit and check out the new wire door.
What a lovely fresh facelift for your door - clever hubby!
Looks great with a facelift.... we have been 'promising' ourselves to do ours too.... maybe I could borrow you bloke after he has finished there.... I can offer regular coffee and snacks....?????
