Looking new again

Old...our front door, looking a bit faded and dusty,
even the rusty, torn fly wire had been fitted to the wrong side of the screen.

Newly painted trim, polished brass and the screen is off being re-wired...
on the correct side.

We have nine sets of French doors,
all of them were painted orange and orange.

Now we have fresh cream and deep blue-grey,
(soon the wobbly bits of paint will be scraped off the glass)
The walls are painted the same colour they were before.
The bloke gets up every day and cheerfully paints a bit more of our house,
he sings, hums and whistles with pleasure.
I don't have the patience.......
I'll have to keep him....
at least until he's finished.

I don't know which I love the most - your beautiful french doors -OR - a husband who can whistle while he works???????? : ) I think they are both keepers! LOL

The house is looking so good with it's new paint job.
Must go round the front next visit and check out the new wire door.
