It's been a whole week............

..........since I lost the pattern to "Once Upon A Star".  A week I desperately needed to finish Angus's birthday quilt in time for this weekend. Although I searched in every drawer, cupboard and shelf looking for the missing pattern it did not show up. So I made him a Quickie!
Some of my new Bali fabric, a chunk of polar fleece and lots of quick stiches to make this Dinosaur cuddly for him to use in the car, on the boat, whereever.
I've added a bit more quilting since I snapped this pic and it's finally ready to give him..........he'll love it!
Dinosaurs are the best thing in the world to him. (apart from eating, he likes that too)

Then I opened my little box with all the cards I buy throughout the year, looking for a birthday card for this little boy and this is what popped out........

WooHoo, however did it get in there?
Not enough time to finish it before Friday when we head down to the city
but it will be done very, very soon.

Love the quilt!

I have that same " Hider of precious treasures" - living at my house too! I do not like that "feller" very much at all right now either.

He stole some paper work I needed and also my brand spanking new pack of permanent markers . I could Never bring myself to pay the big bucks for a REAL magic marker that would work . I would get the cheap-o's and be disappointed EVERY time because they would not work-so I finally broke down and bought a new pack of them -loved them - and now it is "Hide & SEEK"!
