Musicland

Tupelo....Birthplace of Elvis. A pretty little town, comfy motel, cute houses, friendly people.
The bloke meets a young Elvis.
We caledl in for a visit but nobody was home at Gladys and Vernon's.
I do have liking for barns..............
Then we get to Gracelands...........Wow! That's an experience.
What a lot of plastic nonsense...........
A lot of ostentation........
A lot of awards and trophies..........
A lot of big stuff......
And a lot of fans........
Regardless of all this we learnt how much love the world has for Elvis to this day.
We saw how much he gave back and how he helped the poor.
He was truly a legend.......Long live Elvis!
Memphis is COOL.
And so is Brownsville, the bloke says the Taco Salad is great at Kreme Kastle
Oops............more cute barns and dear little houses flash by.
I watched Casey Jones on TV as a kid but I didn't know the real story of Casey and the Cannon Ball Express until this museum visit. So sad.
Hey I thought we were in Jackson a few days ago. Now i understand why Americans always mention the State they're from as well! This is Jackson Tn. And the bloke is making a come back..........he was a long haired singer when I met him, now he's a drummer in a cap!
We were so glad to get to Nashville tonight........time to take a little rest.
