Santa Fe...........I love you.

As we travelled across New Mexico the landscape changed, we left the plains and rose higher and higher. 7,000 feet above sea level!

Santa Fe is known as the "Different" city.
I love it all, the adobe walls, artwork, creativity and colour.
This place just might draw me back one day.

This spiral staircase is called "The Miraculous Staircase".
An amazing story, an amazing structure.

Here's the bloke cruising the streets!

We had breakfast al fresco at our hotel.....Inn and Spa at Loretto, so much better than nice.

A little more "bling" on the boots here than on those in Nashville.

To add to my excitment we were joined by a very special guest at dinner. Pam Holland.
Do you think I was absolutely over the moon......you betcha!

The "Gremlins" have been mucking up my posts and Santa Fe definately happened before the Grand Canyon.....for me anyway!l

Well, you did it again!!! Santa Fe is a frequent trip for us...we are about 14 hours from there so we usually spend a night just inside the line into NM then on to SF when we go....so happy you got to see some of my favorite haunts there!!! I love the staircase, the art works, etc. and next time you come, you will need to visit some of the pueblos and get to Albuquerque..You were in Georgia O'Keeffe country, you know...my favorite artist! Thanks again for sharing!!! Can't wait to see what is next!
