Tuesday Treasures

Today I'm thinking about travel. We are planning a Summer holiday.
Last November I managed to organise a family holiday with all four of our kids, our son in law and daughter in law and the five grandies. We holidayed in the beautiful Shark Bay area and had such a lovely time all together.
This time we are all going further afield. Passports are requred and ours need to be renewed.
When I pulled out my collection of old passports I realised the treasures these created. Memories of holidays and experiences, reunions and departures, seeing the sights and sharing good times, aching feet, flat camera batteries and  over loaded suitcases included. It's all part of discovering this world we live in.
I hope I get to use my new passport often.

......and then how wonderful it was to return home again. Holidays (vacations) were always a lot of work for us, but worth it.

Holidays are wonderful. Now my son is bigger and stronger (nearly 9) we are hoping to do more travel and take him overseas in the near future. We will all have to get passports. Not looking forward to all the filling out of forms. Thanks for popping over to my blog. Charmaine

It's amazing how a single stamp in a passport can bring back so many memories and take you miles away!! I hope to have a passport one day, but at the moment am happy to see as much of Australia as I can. We live in such a wonderful, diverse country!!
Happy Travels!

I bet there are lots of memories in those passports. Here's hoping you get to use your new ones lots.

What a fun treasure! I've never had a passport - although now I need one to get into Canada, of all things. I mean, it's 20 minutes away. Can't wait to hear about your trip!
